Catch yourself in awe of your surroundings! This home offers views that reflect the best of what Sedona has to offer. It sits high up on a ridge in Foothills South with great long unobstructed views north, east and west. You will recognize lots of Sedona’s famous rocks from almost every room in the house and from time to time you will even see a rainbow, maybe two. Enjoy spectacular sunsets and a night sky that shows off the moon, stars and the city lights.

The tongue-and-groove beamed ceilings provide a continuous living space – one that feels sophisticated but still exudes a warm and inviting aesthetic. Other than by the views, this home is dominated by a large great room that incorporates the dining room and living room areas along with a welcome alcove. The floor plan has a wonderful flow for entertaining with a full eat-in kitchen off the great room. The recently updated kitchen comes complete with a butlers pantry and plenty of workspace. The wood floors add a natural appeal.

Steps lead to the lower level which has a 400-bottle capacity wine cellar, full mother-in-law suite, a bonus room that you can use for a hobby, games or play room and a nice sized office or gym. The two levels offer plenty of versatile, pleasant space where people can interact separately or together in ease and comfort.

There is lots of outdoor living with three full patios along the back of the house to take advantage of the views and Sedona lifestyle.

Foothills South is a gated community and the home of the Sedona Racquet Club and Spa offering tennis, a fitness center and a year-round salt water pool for your enjoyment. As well there is golfing and hiking nearby.

What is the climate like?

Sedona is located in Arizona’s high desert (upper margin of the Sonoran Desert) at the southwestern rim of the Colorado Plateau. It is about 4,500 feet above sea level giving it four relatively mild seasons making the climate about 15 degrees cooler than Phoenix or Tucson. Sedona’s annual average high temperature is 75 degrees (F) and the average low is 46 degrees (F). Typical summer highs are in the 80’s and 90’s but we always get night time lows in the 60’s. Winter highs are typically in the 50’s with occasional 70 degree days and occasional 30 degree days. Our more than 17 inches of rain per year far exceeds the true definition of a desert which has 10 inches or less.

What kind of Real Estate Market can I expect?

Now is a great time to buy real estate in Sedona - interest rates are low, it’s a “Buyer’s Market” so prices are more attractive than they have been for some time & there is a nice selection of property to choose from. It is a unique window of opportunity which is not expected to last – we have a very small market, land is limited and Sedona’s popularity continues to grow.

What is there to do in Sedona?
